RS-NMC-1 CCIE Course
Determine where you are in the roadmap to CCIE success and to fill technology gaps through lecture
Manish Behal, #22198
Choosing NMC as the main partner for my CCIE studies was the best decision I've taken to achieve my number. With their "spot the issue" approach and the most skilled professionals, NMC will take you beyond passing the lab and will turn you into a real expert.
Persio Pucci, #22112
Finally!!! I passed the lab exam on 9/25. My # is 22179. The DOiT labs were crucial in my preparation for the exam.I also attended NMC2 which was a tremendous help in developing the right strategy for the exam. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do!
Anthony Peters, #22179
I couldn't have done it without your wonderful program!
Nicholas Oliver, #21782
I want to thank the entire Netmasterclass team for the instruction and the materials they provided – without it I would not have been able to gauge exactly what my strengths and weaknesses were and it helped me formulate a successful strategy to apply to the lab. And a big thanks to Cisco for making the CIERS Beta available – I can honestly say that it was the instruction that I received at Netmasterclass that helped me pass.
Christopher Huang, #21664
Just wanted to let you know that I took my exam yesterday and passed! I just wanted to say thank you to your entire team. The NMC class gave me the foundation of a test-taking methodology, the DOiT labs helped me refine my skills, and the CHECKiT/CIERS graded labs helped hone my live test-taking confidence. I most definitely wouldn't have been able to pass without the excellent resources you have all provided. Thanks again!
Todd Wagner, #21522
I thought I would let you know that I passed my lab on Friday at the 1st attempt. Please pass my thanks to the whole NetMasterClass team for the excellent training materials, I couldn't have done it without them.
Mike Stannard, #21400
I have done my exam yesterday and I have passed, I don't think I could have done it without the CIERS Labs, as with the real lab you really have to spot the issues and fix issues even not asked.Again, thank you very much! Personally I would recommend NMC to everyone, the attention to quality you get is unmatched as compaired with other competitors.
Max Moriconi, #21220
I would like to thank the whole NetMasterClass team for everything. The support for the last minute Class sign-ups (thank you India), the wonderful teaching of Bruce, Val and Bob and the DOiT's/CHECKiT's were exactly what I needed to get through this. It is a long, arduous road; but NMC provides the map to the end. Thank-you guys so much.
Jeff Biggs, #21127
I just took the CCIE R/S exam for the second time and I'm happy to say that I passed! Thanks so much for the great labs. I used your CheckIt labs in the weeks leading up to my exam and what a difference it made. If you can score well on the CheckIt labs you know you are ready for the real exam!
Kevin Schwartz, #21000
My number is 20997. Thanks for the help with the material.
Mark Bateup, #20997
Thank you, you create every day, every second, a better networked world.
Victor Espinoza, #20850
Passed my lab on thursday. Thank you for working with Steve to make this program successful for us. The structure and practice labs were critical to getting me on the right track to pass my lab.
Rob Taylor, #20835
I took both NMC-1/2 and purchased the DOiT labs. Though very intense and difficult, these labs forced me to think 'outside-the-box'. Of course, the last I checked that's what the CCIE lab is about. And the CheckiT labs are in a class of their own.Albeit, my favorite is the 'SHOWiT'...I love it. It's pure magic seeing a one-on-one out put of the master config and yours.
Frank Onwona, #20833
Thank you for the help NMC has given me in this quest, and please pass on my thanks to the rest of the team, and especially to Alexei for answering my interminable questions on DISCUSSiT, and to Bruce for taking the time to discuss the results of the CHECKiTs with me.
Kevin Dorrell, #20765
Good news guys, I passed my CCIE lab.I want to thank all you guys and specially, Bob, Bruce and Indy. I remember all the time words like...."spot the issue"..."the golden moment", "Mental simulation".....I really works!!!!!!!!!!
Harold Rodriguez, #20658
Please pass on my thanks and gratitude to all at NetmasterClass for your excellent product which helped me finally pass the CCIE R&S yesterday at Brussels. The NMC-1/2 bootcamps , DOTiT and CHECKiT labs are second to none and really push you that extra step you need to help you pass the lab. It's been a long while coming but definitely worth the wait. Rest assured I'll continue to recommend NMC.
Dave Mumford,#20557
I just passed the R&S lab exam. It took a lot of hard work, persistence, and NMC DOiT labs. These labs are the heavy lifting necessary to train your brain to think like a CCIE. I also attended the NMC-2 bootcamp. This was invaluable training. Bruce, Bob and Val will wear you out. You cannot complete a marathon without good coaching and dedication. Netmasters are the CCIE marathon pros.
Eric Sparks, #20503
Your class was invaluable and I have highly recommend your course to several individuals within my company. Thanks again for all your guidance and help.
Robert Ivancie, #20096
Thanks so much for all your help in my preparation for the CCIE lab. I passed yesterday in RTP. There is no way I would have passed without the knowledge I gained in both NMC-1 and 2. It’s been a very long journey for me but I didn’t give up and I finally reached my goal. Both NMC classes really helped me increase my attention to detail as well as issue spotting skillsBruce – Thanks for all the help that long week where you stayed the entire time of the class. That kind of dedication is very rare these days!! You are a master.Val – Awesome job with the check-its!! Thanks for the encouragement when I didn’t think I was ready. I know I wasn’t the best candidate but with your help I managed to pass.Bob – Thanks for the help in NMC1. You really helped me with my weak topics.
Gregg Malcolm, #19711
I wanted to extend my thanks to the classes you and the NetMasterClass Team provided me. I attended the NMC 1 and 2 early in the year. After those classes and not much of a surprise, it was clear there were many things I didn't even know I didn't know. The NMC classes were very in-depth and provided me with skills that will follow me forever. The labs are extremely challenging, but they force you to know more and because of that, I wanted to learn more. I feel because of the courses and materials the NMC Team provides, I will have knowledge that not everyone will possess. People may say the classes are overly complex, but are they? Or is the Lab not quite complex enough?
Brian Jones, #19633
The training helped me tremendously, and I've been recommending it to everyone that has asked me about my preparation. It was many hours, but well worth it :-)
Ayanna S. Hogan, #19585
I passed on my second attempt today. Just to say big thanks to you all in the NMC team. I have to say that while I was in the lab and struggling with a problem, Bruce's voice was ringing in my ears!!!
Phillip Day, #19190
Can't express how much I appreciate your support in achieving my CCIE. Its been very hectic and frustrating journey and I am glad its over. This would not have been possible without the continuous feedback and training that I received from NetMasterClass.
Raj Bansal, #18658
After attending NMC1 I took the approach you suggested and went back through the major subjects creating decisions trees, focusing on commands for each option versus theoretical, and how to prove / verify my solution. Also, as the Check-It labs illustrated, I slowed down and carefully read and re-read each question!
Darrin Pierce, #18384
NMC has been a big help in bringing out the knowledge and skills needed topass the lab. I used both the workbooks and some CHECKiT labs. Thequality of the material is absolutely the best on the market.
Jim Li, #18188
I passed the lab on my 3rd attempt in Brussels on May 4th, I would like to thank the team at NMC for their fantastic routing and switching workbook, checkits and overall support.I used your workbook solely for the last 2 months prior to my exam and can honestly say that its made me a better Cisco engineer in the process, the way your labs are structured and the overall content and depth is excellent, and not forgetting the all important answer keys to help explain the why and how.
Lee Reade, #18111
The NMC material played an integral part of my studies, and I will definitely continue recommending it to everyone.
Wayne Hewetson, #17903
Before i attended NMC-2 i don't think I had a clear cut lab taking strategy and your mantra of " Make no assumption, Know ur options, spot the issue and have a verification strategy" opened my eyes. I was truly surprised and amazed how much difference this can make to my aproach and outlook towards my CCIE lab prep before and after attending NMC-2.I made full use of your tech library, which is a great addition to my reference and the DoIT workbook exercise has enriched my understanding of several technology area in a great way. Even though I hardly could do 10 DoIT labs in the time period between NMC-2 and my actual lab date, IMHO, clearly it's well structured and solutions well explained and reasoned out. Thanks a ton for everything and truly truly appreciate you all , your product and your teaching methodology.
Muthuraja Ayyanar, #17849
Realizing my goal of passing the CCIE R&S lab wouldn't have been possible without the people and products available through NetmasterClass. The depth and breadth of their practice labs were excellent tools in my preparation. The Checkits/Doits, the NMC bootcamps and their dedication to my success are the reasons I was able to achieve the CCIE.Thanks to the NetmasterClass Team!!!
Rick Shafer, #17785
I passed my CCIE R&S and now I am second CCIE in PERU.Thanks to Bruce, Bob, Val and Indy for your patience.I took NMC-1 and NMC-2, used Technical Library , DOiT LABS and CHECKiT LABS.I had 3 CCIEs in my bootcamp and the class was very good. Strategies taught by Bruce and your individual class helped me, was excellent.Val and Bruce thanks for the CHECKiT LABS.
Joselito Nunez, #17746
I managed to pass my exam on 3/23/07 and there is no way I could have done it without your brilliant RS-NMC-2 class. It was (by far) the best class that I attended during my journey. The class was very challenging and helped me realize that my strategy was nonexistent, yet vitally important. I spent the week after class focusing on getting faster and not getting hung up on things. It paid off because even though I did get hung up on some things during the exam, I was able to let them go and move on. Funny thing was, when I came back to them after working on other things, the problems seemed more straight forward.
Craig Middlebrooks, #17623
The combination of the DOiT workbook labs (with SHOWiT tool), Technical Library and the NMC-2 bootcamp is what finally got me through the CCIE R&S lab. I completed the DOiT labs and attended the NMC-2 bootcamp. One month later I was able to pass the actual lab. I recommend Netmasterclass to any R&S CCIE candidate.
Greg Falkowski, #17314
I just wanted let you guys know that I passed the lab yesterday (Dec. 5).The material that you provide and classes were invaluable. I would not have passed without your services.
Lawny Johnson, #17286
The 6 of October, I obtained the CCIE number 17020. The truth that I thank for all the support to NMC team (Bruce, Bob, Val, Indy and company), mainly Bruce, thank you very much, I am really convinced that without you, I would not have obtained it. Ever since it makes the NMC-1, to use DOiT Labs, and to do CHECKiT lab, I acquired such confidence that would happen the lab, happened what happened in the LAB and in fact was thus. From December of the 2005 to October of the 2006 using the guides and advice of Bruce, excellent!!! 1000% recommended and again Very many Thanks!!!
Alwinson Lopez, #17020
Please extend my thanks to Bruce and Val (and anyone else responsible for the material). The DOiT and CHECKiT labs gave me the skill and confidence to pass the real lab. The commentary provided in the answer keys were an incredible learning tool (they are by far the best material I have seen).
Erez Jordan Gottlieb, #17010
All, i want to thank you for all your help and support over the last few years, Your classes put me over the top, I do not think I could have done it with out your help. You all are great.
Jim Voyles, #16995
The best way to pass CCIE exam is be confident with yourself and the DOiTs, CHECKiTs , Tech Library , Internal Forum with Alexei and RS-NMC-1 and RS-NMC-2 Classes. Thanks to all the incredible NMC team , without your massive help this never this would not have become true.
Jose Damian Roldan, #16955
I was lucky enough to work with the NMC gurus (Bruce/Val/Bob) during the NMC training and the level and depth of feedback is overwhelming. The really unbelievable thing isn't just how great the training is, it's how much all the staff really support the student. They all went above and beyond in helping in any way possible to help make it over the bar. Thanks!
Paul Dardinski, #16842
Without a doubt I would not have passed were it not for the fantastic products and service at NetMasterClass. I used DOiT, the Tech Library and 3 CHECKiT labs and the added value of your companies personal touched meant this was a winning formula. Not only do your products sufficiently prepare people for the lab but I firmly believe they make better Engineers!
Paul Carvill, #16661
The NMC1 and 2 classes were essential for me to take and pass this exam. The test taking strategies taught by Bruce helped me formulate an organized and successful approach, and minimized the gut wrenching stress during the exam. Bob and Val were always very approachable and comprehensive in their explanations, and helped just the right amount when I was stuck on a subject.
Paul Symonds, #16635
I'm happy to be on the same page with so many great engineers. Thank you for your part in this - your NMC-2 class, student guide (and CHECKiTs) took me the extra distance needed to pass. The personalized help was invaluable, and your good teaching style and service made it a real pleasure.
Leigh Nash, #16543
I passed today in RTP. Your help was instrumental in my attaining this goal. Your professionalism, quality of product and support was invaluable and helped tremendously with keeping me motivated. Time for a long deep breath!
Chris Lewis, #16364
NetMasterClass provides not only the strong foundation essential to attaining a CCIE Lab, but also the troubleshooting skills, core competencies, and attention to detail that allow one to succeed as an engineer. The accumulated experience and knowledge of the NMC team give every student an incredible advantage. I can't say enough about how much I appreciate their help and support.
Eric Stuhl, #16349
Thanks for the excellent training at NetMasterClass. The DOiT Workbook was also a great tool for practicing different CCIE R&S scenarios. The Technical Library put everything into place in regards to theory.
Marco Gaona, #16287
I am glad to share with you the good news that I passed the CCIE lab last Friday on my 1srt attempt! I would like to thank you for the excellent tips and methodology/strategy you all provided during NMC1 and NMC2 on how to approach the lab.
Juan Mayorga, #16141
I couldn't have done it without your help and I want to thank you for all your assistance and guidance. PROOF THROUGH DEBUGS, SPOT THE ISSUES....man is that the truth. I got done yesterday at about 1400, so I had about an hour and a half to go back through and double check. It's a good thing I did b/c I found, through debugs and show commands, that I had misconfigured 3-4 point areas. You guys are great...keep up the good work.
Jarod Ahlgren, #16133
The team of instructors at NetMasterClass have been very instumental in helping me to prepare for and pass the CCIE R&S exam. Without their help and extensive expertise, their classroom training and lab workbooks, I don't know when I would have ever been REALLY ready for the lab. The trainers have the ability to take the most difficult technologies and present them in a way that is easy to understand and digest. Their online tools have proven to be very useful as well - whenever in doubt, I've always been able to use the Show-IT tools to help clarify the workbook answer key. The Check-IT labs were their to let me know when I'm ready. The discussion forum has been very useful. Their self-assessment tool breaks the lab-blueprint into a very granular 'map' to remind me of what I do not know yet. I would highly recommend NetMasterClass to anyone considering the CCIE R&S exam.
Curt Girardin, #15972
I got my CCIE no. yesterday on the very first attempt and would like to thank NetMasterClass for the awesome Technical Library, which I purchased sometime back from you. It especially helped me for the last minute review as things in there are well summarized while details are made where required. My special thanks to the gurus Mr. Caslow and Mr. Pavlichenko for their book.
Ahmed Shams, #15896
I passed the Lab in RTP on my first attempt yesterday. I couldn't have done it with out everything I learned from NetMasterClass I & II and all of the DOITs I did. Thanks to all of you, you guys are great!
Tim Noonan, #15704
RS-NMC-2 is an excellent class that will help anyone checking whether they are ready for the CCIE lab! The class goes far beyond simple lab simulation. It is about an intense and challenging week of 8 hours lab that are cleverly put together so as to test not only knowledge but also mindset, technology understanding, adaptation capabilities and thinking skills.Val and Bruce and their teams are there to answer in depth technology question as well as give very insightful advice on methodology and mindset. It is a complete approach to the CCIE required skills which definitely makes a difference and adds up to the hard work that everyone puts into this Lab challenge.
Laure Andrieux, #15313
I passed the lab today at RTP (first try!). I truly believe NMC-1 and the DOiT labs made all the difference for me. I can't say enough good things about you all personally and your methodology - I'm a believer!
Jeff Langdon, #15082
I passed the R&S lab yesterday in RTP (CCIE #14973). Many thanks to Bruce, Bob, Val, Indy, and the rest of the NMC team for all of your help through the process. The one on one instruction of NMC1 and NMC2, along with many long nights of DOiTs and the Technical Library were an excellent preparation for the actual lab. From the time I passed my written exam to nine months later when I earned my number I relied solely on the NetMasterClass issue spotting approach. I highly recommend NetMasterClass to any CCIE R&S candidate.
Jeremy O'Dette, #14973
I can say that the NMC DOiT scenarios, Technical Library and excellent checklists were instrumental in my passing the test on this occasion. I can't thank you enough for the great materials that you have developed to assist candidates in preparing for the CCIE Lab Exam and recommend the DOiT Workbook scenarios to anyone pursuing the CCIE R&S certification.
John Pearson, #14798
Just to let you know I passed my lab last Friday in Brussels (CCIE 14786). I would never passed if I hadn't spent some bucks for your acclaimed DoiT workbook. Thanks Indy & Alexei for all your help and patience and NMC for letting me preview some of your Tech Library. Invaluable stuff !!! - actually I recommend anyone looking for CCIE track to prepare using your materials.Keep going this way, NMC !
Mihai Petcu, #14786
I am very grateful for the hard work that you have put in your class. Since I have taken the class first back in 2001 and know how hard and how much these guys put into their class. I can tell you that every time I have taken their class it has improved. Their website is simply awesome, it shows you how much work they put into their product, you. Bruce has helped me tremendously over the years with his guidance. I used everything that Netmasters offered to earn my number. Of my friends that went somewhere else, they are not as happy as I am. One thing I know for sure, when you go to Bruce's next class, you will be getting a better class than I did.
Robert Hosford, #14711, CISSP
I passed my CCIE in RTP, number 14560 after a 2 year journey. I could not have accomplished this goal without the help of the NetMasterClass crew. The NMC-1, NMC-2, and DOiT labs were an essential supplement to my preparation. I can't say enough about my experience with them. I would recommend anyone that needs to take their CCIE efforts to the next level to consider the NetMasterClass bootcamps and CHECKiT labs.
Troy Levin, #14560
Thanks for all of the help, direction, and obtuse configuration problems presented to me during the RS-NMC-1. I directly attribute your class for preparing me to pass my lab and making me a much more solid engineer. Your class, DOiT labs, and website will be my first recommendation for any other candidates.
Pete Sakosky, #14460
I'd like to thank all of the folks at NetMasterClass for their support in helping me attain my CCIE. I would highly recommend all CCIE candidates utilize the products offered by NMC. Bruce and Bob are great classroom instructors. The classroom environment was very comfortable. Indy helped me to file all of the correct paperwork. Val took the time to answer all of my questions and push me through areas where I was struggling to understand a technology. The DOiT Labs are top notch, error-free, mind bending scenarios that help to make sure you understand the 'how' and 'why'. Thanks for making this a great journey.
Chris Kane, #14430
If you can only use 1 resource for your IE preparation, I would go with NMC. The "Spotting the Issues" guide that comes with each lab was an amazing help. I spent the last month before my exam just reading through the Spotting the Issues guide that NMC provides. I was burned out and did not have the energy to configure any more routers, so I just spent time reading over the materials that NMC provides. I have used other lab vendors, and NMC was the difference between passing and another failed attempt.
Lee Gillespie, #14404
The NMC.NET result of attending NMC-1 for me has been that it broke my confidence and humbled my expectations quite a bit about where I thought I was in my preparations for the Lab. I found areas that needed dramatic improvement and found that the team at NMC gave me a remarkably easy to use set of tools in the form of the DoIT, CheckIT, ReadIT, GraphIT, and ShowIT technologies... The expertise that is exuded by the all three instructors is inspiring. Frankly, I have heard many people say that it might be better just to sit the lab 3-4 times rather than pay for instruction such as NMC, and I think if those same people came to NMC, they might save themselves some heart-ache, frustration, and cash. I think it is the single most, best investment I have made in my quest for the CCIE. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about getting his/her own CCIE.
The NMC.NET result of attending NMC-2 has given me the confidence to know that I do have the endurance to easily sit the 8 hours for the CCIE Lab, they have helped me to ensure that I have the confidence to work in a structured manner to attain mastery over all domains in each technology, and have helped me quantitatively identify at areas that I need improvement using the CHECKiT and SHOWiT tools. I would recommend not only 1 but both classes to anyone who is serious about getting over their own barriers to obtaining his/her own CCIE. I can't speak enough about having 3 instructors available and the ability to get one-on-one feedback on a per technology basis. I want you to know I questioned why I might want to attend NMC-2 versus just taking the same labs remotely... The NMC.NET answer to the question is... "The feedback and one-on-one personal attention you receive at NMC-2 simply helped me to get over the hump"

NetMasterClass is a very good preparation course for CCIE candidates. The hardest part of CCIE is how to study and approach the exam. The NMC test taking strategy, tips and the study material provided are excellent guides in how to prepare for CCIE. The unique feedback system of Showit, Checkit, decision trees and other tools provided valuable feedback that I have not seen at any other CCIE preparation course to date. Finally, Bob is extremely helpful, enthusiastic and patient. Bruce and Val have written some very insightful CCIE related technical material and hopefully they can complete the rest of matrieals for a new book soon. The lab equipment was trouble free and equipment setup config reloads are completely transparent and error free. All in all, I only wished I had taken this class earlier.
Jimmy Yang
Thank you to NetMasterClass for a superior product. Your class, the DoIT workbook and the CheckiT scenarios played major part in my success. Bruce, Val and Indy (along with the rest of the team) are probably some of the nicest people I have ever been in contact with. Thanks again for everything!
Justin Hadler, #14284
I want to thank you very, very, very, very much because for your CheckiT lab. And this is to inform you that I passed the CCIE and your CheckiT lab helped me a lot in my exam.I suggest any one take the CheckiT lab because it really helped me in a lot of tricks on the exam ,,,,,real one. Not just helped me, but they made the exam a piece of cake
Ali Al-Sayyed, #14265
The class was both the most challenging class and most fun class I have ever attended. The method the class is taught and the use of labs to reinforce and provide practical examples are exceptional. The job done by Bob, Bruce, Val, and the rest of the NetMasterClass team cannot be topped.
Tim Whalen
I wanted to thank both of you for helping me in passing the CCIE. Your classes along with the Lab book gave me the framework to study and pass the exam. I also found your web site very helpful with the technical information and the forum to answer all my lab questions.
Michael Grafton, #14216
I passed the lab Friday the 12th.. I took the class a few years ago and then used DOiT . It was a long tough road but very gratifying to finally pass. I think the lab book pushed me over the top, I did almost all the labs before this attempt. The redistribution sections were invaluable. The online resources and help from the staff are priceless.
Steve Acker, #14097
Just wanted to say thanks for everything. I couldn't have done it without your classes and guidance. Thanks VAL for taking the time to explain the small details and thanks Bruce pushing to the level I needed to be a CCIE and not just pass the test.. The Do-it workbook and the Check-it lab put me over the top for sure. Really prepared me and made me think of all the possible scenarios to complete the lab exam. Keep up the good work!!
David E. Cooper, #14019
I want to thank everyone at NetMasterClass. Everyone is so responsive and supportive! Your Checkit Lab is awesome. Thanks for your integrity. I have tried similar products and didn't get the same great customer support or feedback. This was the challenge I needed! The ShowIt Engine is also great.
Nakia Stringfield, #13541
I just wanted to let you, Bruce, Val and Bob know that I passed the CCIE lab yesterday in RTP on my first attempt. The approach strategy taught in RS-NMC-1,wrestling with the vast features and complexities of the Cisco IOS through the DoIT labs, and many of Bob's helpful posts on GroupStudy were what really helped make it possible for me to achieve this goal.
Neal Secher, #13445
I thought the 2 remote exams I did with you were very educational. Well worth the money. I would recommend them to any one. The service surrounding them, excellent.
Peter Carragher, #13430
I did it !I can't say enough how much I appreciate everything you have done personally and as an organization to help in my pursuit of the coveted CCIE. There is no doubt that NMC played a key role in helping me obtain my certification. Not only did I learn enough to pass the exam and Spot the Issues but more importantly, I have a much broader and deeper understanding of the full range of routing and switching technologies and especially Cisco's implementation.
Ed Moffat, #13196
I can't thank you guys enough for all of the help you have provided along the way. The RS-NMC-2 course and the DOiT workbook were extremely useful. In fact, I believe the workbook is what put me over the top. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to any candidate. You guys have a great product, and your dedication to the CCIE community is exemplary. Keep up the good work.
Perry Ping, CCIE#13096
I just wanted to thank you for ALL the support and guidance you have given me for the past few weeks. You not only have helped me gain a better understanding of the technology, but also have mentored, encouraged, and challenged me to further improve my skills in this industry. I finally obtained my CCIE certification and feel very honored to have received my training from you.
Erwin Chiong, CCIE #13079
I cannot say Thank You enough to you, Val (who answered my questions SO well on areas I just hadn't come across before), Bruce, Fred and everyone on the NetMasterClass BBS (that was so useful when I took the Christmas/New Year holiday to run through 20 of the labs in the DOiT workbook). Many, many thanks! David
David Lake, CCIE#12998
I wanted to let you know that I passed my CCIE Routing and Switching lab exam yesterday in RTP; please let Bruce, Val and Fred know about it and please thank them on my behalf. I'd also like to take this opportunity to let you know that the NMC classes and the DoiT workbook definitely gave me the edge I needed to get my certification. The NMC classes and DoiT workbook are both first class products and I'd strongly recommend them to anyone seriously pursuing the CCIE R&S certification.
Carlos A. Blanco, CCIE #12475
I just can't say enough about the RS-NMC classes. I was fortunate enough to attend both of these instructor led courses and would recommend them to anyone serious about passing the lab. The combination of hands-on labs and classroom training is an excellent approach to tackling the complex issues that can defeat you in the real exam. Bruce, Val, and Fred are very talented instructors and are a real asset to to anyone trying to achieve this certification.
Jeffrey Ambern, CCIE #12367
As a former student, I just wanted to send you a note to let you know I have passed the CCIE lab. I attended the NetMasterClass class in mid May and took the lab exam for the first time on June 24th. I certainly would not have passed on my first try without the knowledge I gained by attending the NMC course. Thanks for all your help, Ted Curran CCIE# 11903
Ted Curran, CCIE #11903
I had taken the lab three times before I began training with NetMasterClass. I passed the lab on my 4th attempt! Everything you've provided directly helped in my lab attempt. In addition to the 2 weeks of training which provided lots of points, the CheckIt lab had a things in it I learned for the first time which provided a few points, and the beta lab I did from your soon to be released lab workbook, DoIt, provided knowledge for additional points. Bruce, you were right. I finished way early but like you said, I had forgotten a couple of important items which could have killed me - a redistribution point and not looking at the diagram close enough to put an interface in a routing protocol. I finished all routing protocol work before lunch and completed lab at 1:30 on the first pass. Thanks for all your help in achieving this accomplishment!
Alan Wong, CCIE #11849
I took the RS-NMC-1 in January of 2002 and there is no way that I would have been able to accomplish this goal without having had that experience. Bruce, Val, and Fred are the greatest instructors from which I have ever had the privilege to learn with. You guys do a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!
Mark Pruitte, CCIE #11845
The Check-It lab was very useful. It taught me to read ahead and try to spot the hidden issues. The key to passing is to spot the issues and interpret the wording correctly.
Andy Fernandes, CCIE #11663
After NMC1 & NMC2 class, my preparation toward the lab exam changed, I changed from 'how to get 80 points' to 'how not to lose 20 points' in the lab exam. A lot of CCIE candidates are failing the lab exam as they are losing too many points from not picking up the hidden issues properly, not because they aren't technically ready. I strongly believe that NMC1 & NMC2 will teach everyone how to deal with these loop holes & hidden agendas and make that last 10 points swing over to your favors. Those who took the lab exams multiple times would know that 10 swing points in the lab can help you make it or break it. My NMC1 & NMC2 experience was very valuable and priceless and I would recommend to anyone who wants to be the next CCIE because Bruce, Val & Fred can make that 10 swing points go in the right direction for you.
Yongchul Yang, CCIE #11646
Just a quick note of thanks to you for all that you do. Your program really emphasizes your desire to help people achieve their CCIE status. I think this is a great asset that many other training companies do not possess. When I took NMC 1, it was clear that your goals are more than just to transfer information to candidates. NMC 2 just reinforced that the commitment is there. Your caring attitude will take you far, and it has not gone unnoticed by me.Yesterday, I completed that journey that started a little over 3 years ago for me. While it has started and stopped over the years, it has never left, hanging over me, this sense that I had to complete this task. It is a great relief to have this expedition behind me. I owe the 4 of you a lot for the knowledge as well as the encouragement along the way.
David Crawford, CCIE #11596
When I first got started I was studying alone, and really did not know where to begin or what the CCIE lab was really about. I started looking for study resources and found the book that Bruce and Val wrote, this seemed to have an approach worth investigating. I later found that they offered the NMC1 course which is based upon this book and their comprehensive method to developing the skills needed to attempt the R/S CCIE lab. I immediately singed up for the class. The course helped me focus my studies, it gave me a way to approach any lab scenario. With this method and a lot of practice labs from various sources, I was able to develop the skills needed to pass the Lab. I highly recommend NMC1 to those who need not only to focus their studies, but want to actually learn a developmental approach to networking technology that will serve you well in any situation. Thanks NetMasterClass!
Cassidy Smith, CCIE #11473
Well I finally passed the lab yesterday... :) I would like to thank Val, Bruce, Fred and India for all their help. I could not of obtained my CCIE without their help. NMC-1 really put together the missing piece's that I was lacking. At the end of the class, I knew which topics to put more effort into and which ones I knew cold. Great Class, keep up the good work. I would also like to thank everyone on this list for answering all my questions. Keep studying and never give up. Now back to having a life with my daughter and wife.
Eric Fisher, CCIE #11546
NMC-1 allowed me to tackle this monster on the first try by building rock solid fundamentals that are a necessity to pass. The course takes you way beyond what you can get from any books The Netmasters staff takes a very personal approach during the course and after the course to ensure your success. Without a doubt this was money well spent on my future. The last thing I want to mention is the CHECK-it test. This was a well thought out test that makes you feel like you're in the hot seat taking the real exam. The exam taught me how to deal with the stress of the exam. Highly recommended!
Rick Lowery, CCIE #11444
I passed on Tuesday, April 1st in RTP. This would not have been at all possible without the NMC courses. The NMC1 course helped to solidify my understanding of the basic concepts. I took those labs and worked on all my weaknesses, then returned for NMC2. This is the course that polished my approach and really got me ready for the exam. The knowledge that Bruce, Val and Fred bring into the classroom, and the enthusiasm in which the material is covered, proved to be the perfect formula for success. The course and lab scenarios are very well written and were an essential part of my exam preparation. Thanks again for all the support you have given me.
Sean Garrett, CCIE #11390
Thanks for the CheckIt lab. WAKE UP CALL for me on paying attention! I passed my lab yesterday in RTP. I believe that this lab is one of the pieces of my studies that took me over the top mainly because I spent extra time reading each section.A well done lab. Thanks to NetMaster for this lab.
David Voss, CCIE #11372
Thank you very much to Bruce, Val, Fred and the NetMasterClass team. NMC 1 and 2 helped me do a huge leap in my expertise. I call NMC1 the "wake-up call" class and NMC2 the "assessment" class. Then to complement the classes, I just did a lot of network scenarios. Now, I'm taking a little break but I would like to attack the security one (why not...)
Jean-Sebastien Roy, CCIE #11295
I passed my lab Thursday the 27th in San Jose on my 1st attempt! You guys are great and the training you provide was a key to my success. The game plan, strategies, and of course the difficult labs were awesome. I admit a lot of NMC2 was over my head but after that class, I worked very hard on the skills necessary to pass. I went into the lab with a specific game plan (like the one you laid out for us) and executed it. I practiced so hard on precision and speed on the days leading up to my exam and it paid off on D-Day. The individual help explaining complex scenarios was superb. Thank you so much!!
Jeremy Wright, CCIE #11168
I decided to take the Check-IT lab being that I am only a couple of weeks out from my lab date. I found out where my weaknesses are and also learned some new stuff. I would recommend this to everyone who has a lab date in the near future as not only does it give you more hands on, but also gives you a sense of where you need to focus your final studies and allows you to practice your time management as well. The lab is well thought out (of course) and has quite a few gotcha's that throw you for a loop. All in all, the lab was well worth the time and money.
Jerry Abeln, CCIE # 11430
The NMC1 class gave me the focus I needed and answered a lot of the small questions that made things fall into place.
Jack DeLaGarza, CCIE #10950
I took ECP1 with Val, and NMC2 back during the summer. Although I was one of the weaker students, your entire staff went out of their way to help, and provided me with numerous tips and techniques that help me complete my 2.5 journey. Thanks again for all of your help.
William Rector, CCIE #10590
I passed on Thursday, Jan 9 in San Jose! I really enjoyed my time in NMC1 last November. Thanks to Bruce, Val, and Fred for a great week. I got a lot of mileage out of your 'checklists' suggestions. The in-class labs were great for bringing me up to speed on many of those topics.
Todd Walker, CCIE #10943
I passed the CCIE Lab in RTP today. I attended NMC-1 back in April. The class was great and so was the "Check-It" practice lab. I failed the my first attempt in June by a small margin, but I passed today on my second attempt. Thank you NetMasters!
Bruce Williams, CCIE #10701
Bruce, Val and Fred without you guys, it would of taken me a few more attempts and all the agonies to go with it NMC1 class gave me my road map. The class is geared for your success; I chose this class due to the book written by Bruce and Val "Cisco Certification Bridges, routers and switches for CCIE's." If they can write a technical book you enjoy and can understand, then there class must portray that. I was not disappointed; Bruce's teaching energy is immense, Fred excellent on DLSW and Multicasting at a nice slow pace (especially for me) and Val in the background answering any question thrown at him in a professional manner. From that class I found out my weakness and worked on them till my lab date at the end of May, which I failed. I had the opportunity to attend the NMC2. This class tuned me up and pushed me over the line. Having 4 well worked 1-day lab scenarios. I cannot STRESS enough that batting ideas with your fellow students in class is the best training you can have.
Perminder Grewal, CCIE #10604
Just thought I'd let you know I passed the CCIE lab on Oct. 15 on my second attempt. Thank you for your excellent training and all the questions answered! Your class gave me a great leap forward in my understanding.
Steve Fenter , CCIE #10501
I was in the next to last ECP1 class back in Oct 2001, and your NMC2 class the week of 16 September 2002, (I was the old guy in the back), I took my third Lab exam 5 Oct and passed. My CCIE number is 10420. I want to thank you guys so much. I've been studying for the past year and a half, bought my own lab, bought lab books, etc., but your NMC2 class is what brought it all together for me. I really want to thank you guys, I'm singing your praises to anyone who will listen.
Robert Bulla, CCIE #10420
I just also wanted to say that I attended the NMC1 class in June and I found the classroom experience plus the DETAILED answer keys to be invaluable. The detail in the answer keys really helps students learn. The other vendors just don't provide that level of detail and students tend to be stuck guessing at the purpose of all lines in the configuration. These answer keys really set you apart from the other vendors. I've done nothing but recommend your class and your website ever since I attended. Here's some more good news. I passed my CCIE exam yesterday at RTP. My number is #10402. Many thanks to your incredible staff.
Tom Warner, CCIE #10402
The NetMasterClass classes were instrumental in my path to obtain the CCIE. NMC1 helped me lay out my study plan and forced me to realize how unprepared I actually was. After studying for another 6 months, NMC2 helped me hone my skills. I am especially thankful for the personal attention given to me by Val - his insight most certainly provided those last few necessary points! I highly recommend both courses.
Brad Caplan, CCIE #10316
Having studied on my own with lab simulations, the recommended reading, and my on the job experience, it was not until attending NMC that I realized the intricate detail the CCIE lab will be testing on. I especially valued the personal instruction and insight that Bruce, Val, and Fred provided. This was the most valuable class I took on my road to CCIE.
Eric Straw, CCIE #10253
NMC-1 was the best week of education I have ever had. Bruce, Val and Fred are great. I knew when I left the class what I needed to do to pass my lab. I have recommended NMC to several of my friends and I have yet to hear a complaint. NMC-1 saved me one or two attempts.
Dart West, CCIE #10205
I took the ECP-1 class while Bruce was teaching for Mentor Technologies.I feel that I benefited from the class and it certainly helped me in preparing for the CCIE lab.I know that the NetMasterClass class offerings will have the same quality training that I received.
Steve Clubb, CCIE #6780
I just got home from RTP and discovered that I PASSED THE LAB!!! I'm CCIE #10133. I've only been working with Cisco equipment for about 2 years now. I graduated from college in May 2000 and was hired into a entry level NOC position that I've been working at ever since. I took on the CCIE challenge in a quest for knowledge and personal satisfaction. I studied for a year straight to get to this point today. I took your advice and performed as many scenario's as possible during my final month before the exam. Considering the tight economy this should hopefully open some doors for me.
I really feel NetMasterClass was critical to my success in allowing me to find my weaknesses and fine tune my strategy for both studying and actually taking the lab. I would just like to thank all of you guys again at
NetMasterClass for helping me attain my CCIE status.
Gregory Stemberger, CCIE #10133
Thank you for helping to make reaching the CCIE possible. By teaching us to "nail everything down" and look for subtle issues raised in each scenario, your excellent class did indeed take us to a "base camp" very near the CCIE, from which it is possible, through some exertion, to reach the peak. I particularly enjoyed learning the lesson that I think of as "find the dead link in this topology." From IS-IS interface-type mismatches, to multicast RPF problems, to BGP "next-hop-self" issues, your course covered subtle issues I might never have learned from practice scenarios. Some practice scenarios may even involve such issues, but often there is noexplicit explanation of the issues. It was also invaluable to cover the various technologies with instructors who can be counted on to be correct and authoritative. For example, once we had gone over DLSW filters with Fred Ingham, we knew we had gotten the right information (as opposed to reading about DLSW in some other training and reference works).Your class is, essentially, perfect. In terms of format, carefully proofed materials, energy, and careful use of time. Lecture, then a hands-on scenario sometimes prefaced by a very brief discussion of a few of the issues raised by the scenario. This very brief introduction helped some of us to avoid wasting time by doing a scenario all wrong in circumstances where class time was tight.
Tom Larus, CCIE #10014
I cannot say enough positive things about NS-NMC-2 - absolutely great and the best preparation one could possibly take.
Bruce and Val did a great job on these labs, very subtle and well planned.
Jess Romero
The class was the most intense, yet the most productive learning experience of my life. The experts conducting the
class were beyond belief with the Internetworking knowledge and the ability to pass it on to the students.
The extended lab hours gave me enough practice time and troubleshooting experience on many topics. I can certainly
state that without the class it would have been almost impossible for me to pass the Lab on the first attempt.
On the more personal note, do not listen to anyone who says that it is impossible to pass the Lab on the first attempt.
Patience, hard work and dedication. It can be done!
Anatoly Derin, CCIE#9959
I attended RSNMC-1 and found it to be excellent. Bruce Caslow and Val Pavlichenko are extremely good instructors
not to mention nice people. The course content is excellent, you learn about the various topics and understand the
pitfalls that one can fall into when these technologies are put together.
William Doyle
I just wanted to say that I'm thoroughly pleased with the class. We were in the lab from 8:30 am every morning until 9
or 10 pm every night. Bruce, Val, and Fred did a wonderful job of filling in gaps in my knowledge base and answering a
lot of questions
Todd Carswell
The most important thing I did to prepare for my CCIE exam was attending NetMasterClass. The course covers the most
difficult subjects very well. A couple of things are a little lacking in the book, but they cover those very well in
the class. Be prepared to work your a** off that week though. 8:30AM to 11PM is the norm that week. But I highly
recommend it, especially if you've come close to passing before.
Chuck Church, CCIE#8776
Above all, the most important part of my preparation is the NMC1 class taught by Bruce, Val and Fred. IF I HAD NOT
TAKEN THE NMC1 CLASS, IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME ONE OR TWO MORE ATTEMPTS BEFORE I COULD GET MY NUMBER.
There are a lot of things that just cannot be learned from reading books or practicing. So, the NMC1 class helped me
to fill in that gap very well. It also helped me to access my strength and weakness. I know what to study inn the last
few weeks. I strongly recommend taking the NMC1 class a few weeks before your lab date.
George Zhang, CCIE#8903
I used the usual books and study materials that everyone has mentioned before. The one key element I thought was
RS-NMC 1 by NetMasterClass. Bruce, Val and Fred were excellent instructors and really went the extra mile to help
students prepare for the lab.
Craig Dorry, CCIE#9072
The RS-NMC-1 put me over the top and it was the edge that made me pass on my first attempt.
Manny Gonzalez, CCIE#9013
