I took both NMC-1/2 and purchased the DOiT labs. Though very intense and difficult, these labs forced me to think 'outside-the-box'. Of course, the last I checked that's what the CCIE lab is about. And the CheckiT labs are in a class of their own.Albeit, my favorite is the 'SHOWiT'...I love it. It's pure magic seeing a one-on-one out put of the master config and yours.

I wanted to extend my thanks to the classes you and the NetMasterClass Team provided me. I attended the NMC 1 and 2 early in the year. After those classes and not much of a surprise, it was clear there were many things I didn't even know I didn't know.The NMC classes were very in-depth and provided me with skills that will follow me forever. The labs are extremely challenging, but they force you to know more and because of that, I wanted to learn more. I feel because of the courses and materials the NMC Team provides, I will have knowledge that not everyone will possess. People may say the classes are overly complex, but are they? Or is the Lab not quite complex enough?

I managed to pass my exam on 3/23/07 and there is no way I could have done it without your brilliant RS-NMC-2 class. It was (by far) the best class that I attended during my journey. The class was very challenging and helped me realize that my strategy was nonexistent, yet vitally important. I spent the week after class focusing on getting faster and not getting hung up on things. It paid off because even though I did get hung up on some things during the exam, I was able to let them go and move on. Funny thing was, when I came back to them after working on other things, the problems seemed more straight forward.

The combination of the DOiT workbook labs (with SHOWiT tool), Technical Library and the NMC-2 bootcamp is what finally got me through the CCIE R&S lab. I completed the DOiT labs and attended the NMC-2 bootcamp. One month later I was able to pass the actual lab. I recommend Netmasterclass to any R&S CCIE candidate.

The team of instructors at NetMasterClass have been very instumental in helping me to prepare for and pass the CCIE R&S exam. Without their help and extensive expertise, their classroom training and lab workbooks, I don't know when I would have ever been REALLY ready for the lab. The trainers have the ability to take the most difficult technologies and present them in a way that is easy to understand and digest. Their online tools have proven to be very useful as well - whenever in doubt, I've always been able to use the Show-IT tools to help clarify the workbook answer key. The Check-IT labs were their to let me know when I'm ready. The discussion forum has been very useful. Their self-assessment tool breaks the lab-blueprint into a very granular 'map' to remind me of what I do not know yet. RS-NMC-2 is an excellent class that will help anyone checking whether they are ready for the CCIE lab! The class goes far beyond simple lab simulation. It is about an intense and challenging week of 8 hours lab that are cleverly put together so as to test not only knowledge but also mindset, technology understanding, adaptation capabilities and thinking skills.Val and Bruce and their teams are there to answer in depth technology question as well as give very insightful advice on methodology and mindset. It is a complete approach to the CCIE required skills which definitely makes a difference and adds up to the hard work that everyone puts into this Lab challenge.

I passed the lab today at RTP (first try!). I truly believe NMC-1 and the DOiT labs made all the difference for me. I can't say enough good things about you all personally and your methodology - I'm a believer!

If you can only use 1 resource for your IE preparation, I would go with NMC. The "Spotting the Issues" guide that comes with each lab was an amazing help. I spent the last month before my exam just reading through the Spotting the Issues guide that NMC provides. I was burned out and did not have the energy to configure any more routers, so I just spent time reading over the materials that NMC provides. I have used other lab vendors, and NMC was the difference between passing and another failed attempt.

The NMC.NET result of attending NMC-1 for me has been that it broke my confidence and humbled my expectations quite a bit about where I thought I was in my preparations for the Lab. I found areas that needed dramatic improvement and found that the team at NMC gave me a remarkably easy to use set of tools in the form of the DoIT, CheckIT, ReadIT, GraphIT, and ShowIT technologies... The expertise that is exuded by the all three instructors is inspiring. Frankly, I have heard many people say that it might be better just to sit the lab 3-4 times rather than pay for instruction such as NMC, and I think if those same people came to NMC, they might save themselves some heart-ache, frustration, and cash. I think it is the single most, best investment I have made in my quest for the CCIE. I highly recommend it to anyone serious about getting his/her own CCIE.

The NMC.NET result of attending NMC-2 has given me the confidence to know that I do have the endurance to easily sit the 8 hours for the CCIE Lab, they have helped me to ensure that I have the confidence to work in a structured manner to attain mastery over all domains in each technology, and have helped me quantitatively identify at areas that I need improvement using the CHECKiT and SHOWiT tools. I would recommend not only 1 but both classes to anyone who is serious about getting over their own barriers to obtaining his/her own CCIE. I can't speak enough about having 3 instructors available and the ability to get one-on-one feedback on a per technology basis. I want you to know I questioned why I might want to attend NMC-2 versus just taking the same labs remotely... The NMC.NET answer to the question is... "The feedback and one-on-one personal attention you receive at NMC-2 simply helped me to get over the hump"

NetMasterClass is a very good preparation course for CCIE candidates. The hardest part of CCIE is how to study and approach the exam. The NMC test taking strategy, tips and the study material provided are excellent guides in how to prepare for CCIE. The unique feedback system of Showit, Checkit, decision trees and other tools provided valuable feedback that I have not seen at any other CCIE preparation course to date.Finally, Bob is extremely helpful, enthusiastic and patient. Bruce and Val have written some very insightful CCIE related technical material and hopefully they can complete the rest of matrieals for a new book soon. The lab equipment was trouble free and equipment setup config reloads are completely transparent and error free.All in all, I only wished I had taken this class earlier.

I had taken the lab three times before I began training with NetMasterClass. I passed the lab on my 4th attempt! Everything you've provided directly helped in my lab attempt. In addition to the 2 weeks of training which provided lots of points, the CheckIt lab had a things in it I learned for the first time which provided a few points, and the beta lab I did from your soon to be released lab workbook, DoIt, provided knowledge for additional points. Bruce, you were right. I finished way early but like you said, I had forgotten a couple of important items which could have killed me - a redistribution point and not looking at the diagram close enough to put an interface in a routing protocol. I finished all routing protocol work before lunch and completed lab at 1:30 on the first pass. Thanks for all your help in achieving this accomplishment!

I took the RS-NMC-1 in January of 2002 and there is no way that I would have been able to accomplish this goal without having had that experience. Bruce, Val, and Fred are the greatest instructors from which I have ever had the privilege to learn with. You guys do a fantastic job. Keep up the great work!

The Check-It lab was very useful. It taught me to read ahead and try to spot the hidden issues. The key to passing is to spot the issues and interpret the wording correctly.

After NMC1 & NMC2 class, my preparation toward the lab exam changed, I changed from 'how to get 80 points' to 'how not to lose 20 points' in the lab exam. A lot of CCIE candidates are failing the lab exam as they are losing too many points from not picking up the hidden issues properly, not because they aren't technically ready. I strongly believe that NMC1 & NMC2 will teach everyone how to deal with these loop holes & hidden agendas and make that last 10 points swing over to your favors. Those who took the lab exams multiple times would know that 10 swing points in the lab can help you make it or break it. My NMC1 & NMC2 experience was very valuable and priceless and I would recommend to anyone who wants to be the next CCIE because Bruce, Val & Fred can make that 10 swing points go in the right direction for you.

Just a quick note of thanks to you for all that you do. Your program really emphasizes your desire to help people achieve their CCIE status. I think this is a great asset that many other training companies do not possess. When I took NMC 1, it was clear that your goals are more than just to transfer information to candidates. NMC 2 just reinforced that the commitment is there. Your caring attitude will take you far, and it has not gone unnoticed by me.Yesterday, I completed that journey that started a little over 3 years ago for me. While it has started and stopped over the years, it has never left, hanging over me, this sense that I had to complete this task. It is a great relief to have this expedition behind me. I owe the 4 of you a lot for the knowledge as well as the encouragement along the way.

When I first got started I was studying alone, and really did not know where to begin or what the CCIE lab was really about. I started looking for study resources and found the book that Bruce and Val wrote, this seemed to have an approach worth investigating. I later found that they offered the NMC1 course which is based upon this book and their comprehensive method to developing the skills needed to attempt the R/S CCIE lab. I immediately singed up for the class. The course helped me focus my studies, it gave me a way to approach any lab scenario. With this method and a lot of practice labs from various sources, I was able to develop the skills needed to pass the Lab. I highly recommend NMC1 to those who need not only to focus their studies, but want to actually learn a developmental approach to networking technology that will serve you well in any situation. Well I finally passed the lab yesterday... :) I would like to thank Val, Bruce, Fred and India for all their help. I could not of obtained my CCIE without their help. NMC-1 really put together the missing piece's that I was lacking. At the end of the class, I knew which topics to put more effort into and which ones I knew cold. Great Class, keep up the good work. I would also like to thank everyone on this list for answering all my questions. Keep studying and never give up. Now back to having a life with my daughter and wife.

NMC-1 allowed me to tackle this monster on the first try by building rock solid fundamentals that are a necessity to pass. The course takes you way beyond what you can get from any books The Netmasters staff takes a very personal approach during the course and after the course to ensure your success. Without a doubt this was money well spent on my future. The last thing I want to mention is the CHECK-it test. This was a well thought out test that makes you feel like you're in the hot seat taking the real exam. The exam taught me how to deal with the stress of the exam. Highly recommended!

I passed on Tuesday, April 1st in RTP. This would not have been at all possible without the NMC courses. The NMC1 course helped to solidify my understanding of the basic concepts. I took those labs and worked on all my weaknesses, then returned for NMC2. This is the course that polished my approach and really got me ready for the exam. The knowledge that Bruce, Val and Fred bring into the classroom, and the enthusiasm in which the material is covered, proved to be the perfect formula for success. The course and lab scenarios are very well written and were an essential part of my exam preparation. Thanks again for all the support you have given me.

Thank you very much to Bruce, Val, Fred and the NetMasterClass team. NMC 1 and 2 helped me do a huge leap in my expertise. I call NMC1 the "wake-up call" class and NMC2 the "assessment" class. Then to complement the classes, I just did a lot of network scenarios. Now, I'm taking a little break but I would like to attack the security one (why not...)

I passed my lab Thursday the 27th in San Jose on my 1st attempt! You guys are great and the training you provide was a key to my success. The game plan, strategies, and of course the difficult labs were awesome. I admit a lot of NMC2 was over my head but after that class, I worked very hard on the skills necessary to pass. I went into the lab with a specific game plan (like the one you laid out for us) and executed it. I practiced so hard on precision and speed on the days leading up to my exam and it paid off on D-Day. The individual help explaining complex scenarios was superb. Thank you so much!!

I decided to take the Check-IT lab being that I am only a couple of weeks out from my lab date. I found out where my weaknesses are and also learned some new stuff. I would recommend this to everyone who has a lab date in the near future as not only does it give you more hands on, but also gives you a sense of where you need to focus your final studies and allows you to practice your time management as well. The lab is well thought out (of course) and has quite a few gotcha's that throw you for a loop. All in all, the lab was well worth the time and money.

The NMC1 class gave me the focus I needed and answered a lot of the small questions that made things fall into place.

I took ECP1 with Val, and NMC2 back during the summer. Although I was one of the weaker students, your entire staff went out of their way to help, and provided me with numerous tips and techniques that help me complete my 2.5 journey. Thanks again for all of your help.

I passed on Thursday, Jan 9 in San Jose! I really enjoyed my time in NMC1 last November. Thanks to Bruce, Val, and Fred for a great week. I got a lot of mileage out of your 'checklists' suggestions. The in-class labs were great for bringing me up to speed on many of those topics.

I passed the CCIE Lab in RTP today. I attended NMC-1 back in April. The class was great and so was the "Check-It" practice lab. I failed the my first attempt in June by a small margin, but I passed today on my second attempt. Thank you NetMasters!

Bruce, Val and Fred without you guys, it would of taken me a few more attempts and all the agonies to go with it NMC1 class gave me my road map. The class is geared for your success; I chose this class due to the book written by Bruce and Val "Cisco Certification Bridges, routers and switches for CCIE's." If they can write a technical book you enjoy and can understand, then there class must portray that. I was not disappointed; Bruce's teaching energy is immense, Fred excellent on DLSW and Multicasting at a nice slow pace (especially for me) and Val in the background answering any question thrown at him in a professional manner. From that class I found out my weakness and worked on them till my lab date at the end of May, which I failed. I had the opportunity to attend the NMC2. This class tuned me up and pushed me over the line. Having 4 well worked 1-day lab scenarios. I cannot STRESS enough that batting ideas with your fellow students in class is the best training you can have.

Just thought I'd let you know I passed the CCIE lab on Oct. 15 on my second attempt. Thank you for your excellent training and all the questions answered! Your class gave me a great leap forward in my understanding.

I was in the next to last ECP1 class back in Oct 2001, and your NMC2 class the week of 16 September 2002, (I was the old guy in the back), I took my third Lab exam 5 Oct and passed. My CCIE number is 10420. I want to thank you guys so much. I've been studying for the past year and a half, bought my own lab, bought lab books, etc., but your NMC2 class is what brought it all together for me. I really want to thank you guys, I'm singing your praises to anyone who will listen.

I just also wanted to say that I attended the NMC1 class in June and I found the classroom experience plus the DETAILED answer keys to be invaluable. The detail in the answer keys really helps students learn. The other vendors just don't provide that level of detail and students tend to be stuck guessing at the purpose of all lines in the configuration. These answer keys really set you apart from the other vendors. I've done nothing but recommend your class and your website ever since I attended.Here's some more good news. I passed my CCIE exam yesterday at RTP. My number is #10402. Many thanks to your incredible staff.

The NetMasterClass classes were instrumental in my path to obtain the CCIE. NMC1 helped me lay out my study plan and forced me to realize how unprepared I actually was. After studying for another 6 months, NMC2 helped me hone my skills. I am especially thankful for the personal attention given to me by Val - his insight most certainly provided those last few necessary points! I highly recommend both courses.

Having studied on my own with lab simulations, the recommended reading, and my on the job experience, it was not until attending NMC that I realized the intricate detail the CCIE lab will be testing on. I especially valued the personal instruction and insight that Bruce, Val, and Fred provided. This was the most valuable class I took on my road to CCIE.

NMC-1 was the best week of education I have ever had. Bruce, Val and Fred are great. I knew when I left the class what I needed to do to pass my lab. I have recommended NMC to several of my friends and I have yet to hear a complaint. NMC-1 saved me one or two attempts.

I took the ECP-1 class while Bruce was teaching for Mentor Technologies.I feel that I benefited from the class and it certainly helped me in preparing for the CCIE lab.I know that the NetMasterClass class offerings will have the same quality training that I received.

I just got home from RTP and discovered that I PASSED THE LAB!!! I'm CCIE #10133. I've only been working with Cisco equipment for about 2 years now. I graduated from college in May 2000 and was hired into a entry level NOC position that I've been working at ever since. I took on the CCIE challenge in a quest for knowledge and personal satisfaction. I studied for a year straight to get to this point today. I took your advice and performed as many scenario's as possible during my final month before the exam. Considering the tight economy this should hopefully open some doors for me. I really feel NetMasterClass was critical to my success in allowing me to find my weaknesses and fine tune my strategy for both studying and actually taking the lab. I would just like to thank all of you guys again at NetMasterClass for helping me attain my CCIE status.

Thank you for helping to make reaching the CCIE possible. By teaching us to "nail everything down" and look for subtle issues raised in each scenario, your excellent class did indeed take us to a "base camp" very near the CCIE, from which it is possible, through some exertion, to reach the peak. I particularly enjoyed learning the lesson that I think of as "find the dead link in this topology." From IS-IS interface-type mismatches, to multicast RPF problems, to BGP "next-hop-self" issues, your course covered subtle issues I might never have learned from practice scenarios. Some practice scenarios may even involve such issues, but often there is noexplicit explanation of the issues.It was also invaluable to cover the various technologies with instructors who can be counted on to be correct and authoritative. For example, once we had gone over DLSW filters with Fred Ingham, we knew we had gotten the right information (as opposed to reading about DLSW in some other training and reference works).Your class is, essentially, perfect. In terms of format, carefully proofed materials, energy, and careful use of time. Lecture, then a hands-on scenario sometimes prefaced by a very brief discussion of a few of the issues raised by the scenario. This very brief introduction helped some of us to avoid wasting time by doing a scenario all wrong in circumstances where class time was tight.

I cannot say enough positive things about NS-NMC-2 - absolutely great and the best preparation one could possibly take. Bruce and Val did a great job on these labs, very subtle and well planned.

The class was the most intense, yet the most productive learning experience of my life. The experts conducting the class were beyond belief with the Internetworking knowledge and the ability to pass it on to the students. The extended lab hours gave me enough practice time and troubleshooting experience on many topics. I can certainly state that without the class it would have been almost impossible for me to pass the Lab on the first attempt. On the more personal note, do not listen to anyone who says that it is impossible to pass the Lab on the first attempt. Patience, hard work and dedication. It can be done!

I attended RSNMC-1 and found it to be excellent. Bruce Caslow and Val Pavlichenko are extremely good instructors not to mention nice people. The course content is excellent, you learn about the various topics and understand the pitfalls that one can fall into when these technologies are put together.

I just wanted to say that I'm thoroughly pleased with the class. We were in the lab from 8:30 am every morning until 9 or 10 pm every night. Bruce, Val, and Fred did a wonderful job of filling in gaps in my knowledge base and answering a lot of questions

The most important thing I did to prepare for my CCIE exam was attending NetMasterClass. The course covers the most difficult subjects very well. A couple of things are a little lacking in the book, but they cover those very well in the class. Be prepared to work your a** off that week though. 8:30AM to 11PM is the norm that week. But I highly recommend it, especially if you've come close to passing before.

Above all, the most important part of my preparation is the NMC1 class taught by Bruce, Val and Fred. IF I HAD NOT TAKEN THE NMC1 CLASS, IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME ONE OR TWO MORE ATTEMPTS BEFORE I COULD GET MY NUMBER. There are a lot of things that just cannot be learned from reading books or practicing. So, the NMC1 class helped me to fill in that gap very well. It also helped me to access my strength and weakness. I know what to study inn the last few weeks. I strongly recommend taking the NMC1 class a few weeks before your lab date.

I used the usual books and study materials that everyone has mentioned before. The one key element I thought was RS-NMC 1 by NetMasterClass. Bruce, Val and Fred were excellent instructors and really went the extra mile to help students prepare for the lab.

The RS-NMC-1 put me over the top and it was the edge that made me pass on my first attempt.
